Join the Team

Ready to ride, compete, and grow in your horsemanship? BIET is open to riders in grades 4–12 and is proudly hosted at Clairmont Show Stables in Sterrett, Alabama. Riders will compete under the Interscholastic Equestrian Association (IEA), gaining valuable experience in both flat and over-fences classes.

Things to know

  • Annual Membership: $300
    Includes:

    • IEA Registration Fee

    • Team Hat + T-Shirt

  • Flat Only Riders:

    • Entry Fee: $55

    • Coaching: $75

    • Horse/Equipment Fee: $25
      Total: $130 per show

    Fences + Flat Riders:

    • Entry Fee: $110

    • Coaching: $75

    • Horse/Equipment Fee: $25
      Total: $210 per show

    Please Note:
    Additional fees will apply for away and post-season shows. These may include trainer and horse transportation, stabling, and shavings. Riders are also responsible for horse care at all competitions.

  • All team riders and their families are expected to:

    • Participate in all team events

    • Volunteer at BIET-hosted competitions

    • Be active in show prep, grooming, and barn activities

Team Summer Camp

Dates: July 17–18, 2025


Cost: $250

Two full days of riding, team bonding, horse care, and prep for the upcoming season. Don’t miss it!
